Dr. LaVerne Adekunle to Speak in Nigeria

Brentwood, TN. 5/2/18- LaVerne Adekunle, PhD and Dr. John Williams, both from Blytheville Arkansas are headed to Africa to speak at the Encounter Africa Conference at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife Nigeria.
Dr. LaVerne and her son Macaiah Tillman, PhD, owns a non-profit Marketing firm for authors, artist & entrepreneurs called laExpose’. Their awards project is the International Extraordinary People Awards honoring global leaders who serve others through philanthropy and humanitarian efforts. Who would know 18 years ago these Blytheville residents would be still doing a great service to mankind together on such an international level. Dr. John and Dr. LaVerne also work under his organization called Come On In Inc. which provide pageants and proms for seniors and the elderly.
“We are proud of this team of humanitarians traveling to make a difference in the lives of those around the world ” according to Macaiah Tillman, PhD.
Dr. LaVerne Adekunle is an award-winning author and marketing extraordinaire. She graduated from Blytheville High and she holds a PhD in Philosophy in Christian Education; she is a former Adjunct Professor at TNT Biblical Institute. An alumna of Aenon Bible College, her heart of compassion led her into missionary work just to name a few of her numerous accomplishments.

Eld. John Williams is the youngest of 14 children, his mentor Mrs. Etter Mae Robinson, told him, that he was smart and could be anything in life that he wanted to be. That, was when Mr. Williams made a tremendous change in his life. With the improvement of his self-confidence and self-worth, Mr. Williams graduated with the Class of 1986. Upon graduation, he received two scholarships. Mr. Williams was the first of 14 children to finish high school and attend college. He joined the United States Army in Dec of 1988 and his wife recently retired from the military. Both received many awards over the many years in which they served. And still furthering his education after the military. List of Awards, educational certifications and degrees are many and very distinguished.
